Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CNC Programs and associated log files for all shop floor CNC machines, utilizing CATIA V5, ICAM, NCSimul, Crash Guard Studio (WFL) and MSOffice software.
• Implement Laser Tool Measuring on appropriately equipped machines.
• Create and maintain Setup Sheets, Tooling Lists (Kit Reports) and Tool Life Tracking/Maintenance forms per CNC Programming and production requirements.
• Create and maintain Probing routines required to accurately set up part datum and/or part measurements, ensuring part quality through repeatability.
• Liaise with all Mfg. Eng. sections to ensure a robust manufacturing process (Manufacturing Methods, Tool and Fixture Design, Tool and Fixture Procurement, CMM Programming and CAD/CAM Development).
• Recommend and implement quality or process improvement actions including corrective action for non‑conformance and cost reduction.
