Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC or conventional machines such as milling, turning, grinding, or drilling equipment.
- Load raw materials, set basic machine parameters, and perform required tool changes.
- Perform in‑process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measurement tools.
- Interpret engineering drawings and follow process sheets and work instructions.
- Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities, tool wear, or dimensional deviations.
- Maintain accurate production records including quantities produced, scrap, and machine downtime.
- Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage, housekeeping, and compliance with machine guarding requirements.
- Conduct routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on machines.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and technicians to resolve production issues.
