You will be the CNC Machinist Sr for the Manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for precision machining of high‑performance missile components, delivering exacting tolerances and ensuring every part meets Lockheed Martin’s rigorous quality standards.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the CNC Machinist Sr you will be responsible for operating CNC equipment, fabricating complex parts, and continuously improving our machining processes.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Set‑up, program, and operate CNC machine tools.
+ Interpret engineering drawings and work orders to select tooling, fixturing, and machining strategies.
+ Fabricate, inspect, rework, and calibrate components using precision measuring instruments.
+ Design and build production aids, jigs, and fixtures that streamline operations and boost efficiency.
+ Identify design‑for‑manufacturability improvements and communicate recommendations to engineering.
