**Job Title: CNC Setup Machinist**

**Job Description**

This role focuses on performing complete setups and operation of 3- and 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce prototype and production parts from solid models, blueprints, and engineering drawings. You will independently set up tooling and fixtures, verify first articles, and make program edits at the machine using Heidenhain controls to ensure high-quality, precise components for advanced manufacturing projects.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform complete short-run CNC mill setups on 3- and 5-axis machines, including tooling selection, fixture setup, setting offsets, and first-article verification.
+ Set up and run 3- and 5-axis CNC milling machines for both prototyping and production runs across a variety of materials such as aluminum, steel, and graphite.
