JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Quality Director, with input from the Quality Engineer(s), the CMM Technician performs inspection of machined parts using the multiple CMM’s available to provide data for First Article, In-Process and Final Inspections.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Pull the correct CMM program and load into the CMM.

+ Stage the part on the CMM and provide detailed information pertaining to if the machine parts meet all Engineering Drawing / Model / Customer requirements.

+ Communication of inspection results to machine operators, quality management, engineering team and customers when required.

+ Understanding of the NCMR process including creating and communicating the NCMR information during a Material review board meeting.

+ Set up the CMM for inspection based upon priorities established by the Quality Director.
