A Cloud Architect is responsible for setting and managing Nipro’s cloud strategy. This includes cloud adoption plans and cloud landing zone definition, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. Cloud architects oversee application architecture and deployment in cloud environments and edge environments. He acts as a consultant to Nipro IT and Business (including NDTE and MIC) and thus need to stay current on the latest trends and technologies and actively shares cloud knowledge through leading workshops, giving trainings and being a lead in a project or product design.

The architectures and designs defined and governed by the Cloud Architect take into account not only the technical design of the various cloud components, but also information security in relation to data confidentiality and GDPR, availability and disaster recovery, monitoring, support and cost.
