Job summary

The post will be based within the multidisciplinary Renal department, where psychology is highly valued. You will provide individual inpatient and outpatient work, case consultation, and represent psychology in MDT meetings. You will contribute to developing a specialist clinical health psychology service for kidney conditions and have the opportunity to shape practice within a large medical team. The role offers the chance to bring new ideas to the department, including through multidisciplinary and quality improvement projects. Service‑user involvement is encouraged. Renal psychology has helped develop a peer support programme for patients, which you would be encouraged to join.
