Responsibilities

• Taking charge of a unit or a floor, promoting residents’ independence, choice and dignity by ensuring the team provides the highest standards of care at all times.
• Assessing each resident’s wellbeing with the help of your team—ensuring physical, emotional and social needs are met and maintaining accurate records.
• Delivering clinical guidance to your team, leading by example and motivating and mentoring the team to ensure safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home.
• Building lasting relationships with residents and the people they care about, fostering a sense of community within the home.
• Creating and developing strong relationships with local partners, liaising with them and raising the care home’s profile in the local area and beyond.
• Using your clinical experience to lead, motivate and mentor a team, delegating effectively and promoting excellent customer service and relationships.
