**Description**

This position is a dual role including Nursing Assistant (NA) and Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) job related duties. The position is 36 hours/week; day/night rotation.

Our Pediatric Acute Care Medicine Unit is a 24 bed pediatric unit providing both acute and intermediate level of care for newborns to 21 years of age. The staff have a strong knowledge base of seizure management, family teaching, central line catheter care, pediatric growth and development, respiratory illness, parenteral nutrition, complex hydration regiment, home ventilators, and high flow oxygen therapy. The unit also provides care for pediatric surgical patients. The Pediatric Medicine staff are highly committed to caring for pediatric patients and their families.
