Job Responsibilities:

The Clinical Research Nurse B/C in Infectious Diseases is responsible for implementation of research protocols in HIV, COVID 19 and other Infectious Diseases. The nurse is responsible for management of patient care, collection of medical and medication history, physical assessments, completion of patient visits according to protocol specifications, administration of investigational products by various routes including injections and IV infusions, procurement of specific laboratory specimens, conducting complex evaluations, and completion of source documentation and clinical research forms. The research nurse also takes an active role in participant adherence to treatment and study visits.
