The clinical Nurse contributes to the creation of a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families and colleagues through displays of kindness and active listening. Recognizes and appreciates that each employeeβs work is valuable and contributes to the success of the Mission.
Unit: E8 Rehab
About: E8 is the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation unit. Patients come to us for two-three weeks of intensive therapy with the goal of getting home to or near their baseline function. It is a multidisciplinary effort with input from physical, speech and occupational therapy, from nursing, from the medical teams, all overseen by the Physiatrists. Our patients stay are planned and usually follow a predictable path, allowing staff members time to develop therapeutic relationships and help the...
