Assess, plan, implement and evaluate preceptorship scheme for strengthening clinical support of new staff. Provide OJT training of new staff and assist Nurse Managers in the wards to ensure their competencies. Co-ordinate and organize training activities to strengthen unit-based generic and specialty clinical practices. Plan, implement and evaluate unit-based and discipline-based training courses. Ensure appropriate orientation, training and continuing education for nursing staff to advance and maintain the required level of competency.
