**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

The **Critical Care Clinical Educator (ED/ICU)** provides staff development expertise in their assigned specialty as an educator, expert clinician, consultant, facilitator, change agent, leader, patient advocate and researcher. Each supports the clinical and professional development of their staff, with a goal of achieving excellence in the delivery of evidence based nursing practice. The Critical Care Clinical Educator(ED/ICU) facilitates the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of competency, continuing education and professional development.
