Job Description
The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC invites applications for a part-time clinical-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry in the Department of Anesthesia.
Qualified candidates must have completed a minimum of three years in a dental anesthesiology residency accredited by the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology (ADBA) and the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and must have significant experience in providing sedation and general anesthesia for all types of dental surgery for adults and pediatric patients, including caring for patients with special healthcare needs and significant medical compromise. Preference will be given to candidates who are board-certified or active candidates for certification by the ABDA and must be eligible for licensure and pediatric endorsement for general anesthesia in California.
