Responsibilities

• Ensure approved materials are used, correct method and workmanship are adopted by WPC.
• Ensure works are carried out as per the Construction Drawings for the correct dimension, levels, locations etc.
• Inspect WPC’s work in stages as per the date and time requested by WPC.
• Witness testing of all materials and work done as per the date and time requested by WPC.
• Take note of the site instructions and any other relevant directives onto the drawings used in inspection, to ensure that they are taken into account.
• Prepare a written list of any points which may require attention, in concurrence with the RE, where the WPC has asked for the inspection. The COW is to check the points have been rectified or agreed to before the work is covered, as the case may be.
• Inform WPC and ARE should WPC fail to comply with the Safety, Health, Environmental requirements.
