Role Summary

Reporting to the Supervisor, Family Medicine Center, you will act as the receptionist for the family medicine clinic. Your main tasks include:

• Answer the phone and triage and direct calls appropriately
• Greet and register patients and enter their records into the electronic medical record
• Action requests from the clinic providers
• Schedule patient appointments and create provider schedules
• Enroll patients into government programs
• Receive and sort mail, faxes and electronic communication, and scan documents into the electronic medical record
• Maintain clinic supplies and support the team environment for primary care
