Christchurch Riding for the Disabled managed by Volunteering Canterbury

Volunteers need to be walking fit to assist up to 3 hours per day between 8.30 & 2pm Monday to Friday. Bring your own lunch. School Terms Only.
Horse handling experience an advantage, and the desire to assist our riders with their physical goals, whilst supporting their abilities. Training is given whilst assisting the team.
Our next New Volunteer Introduction Workshop will be held on Thursday 26th February, 2026 9.30 to 12.30 at our arena in Northcote drive, Wigram inside the Christchurch Agricultural Showgrounds.

What we need from you:

A good level of walking fitness as there is 2 hours of walking during the mornings and again in afternoon.
