Food Service Manager

Create and maintain an efficient food service program in an individual school under the direction and guidance of the school principal and the Director of Child Nutrition Services. Adhere to federal and state laws, as well as district policies, procedures, and regulations. Cooperate with campus principal, faculty, students, and staff to make the food service program an integral part of the total school program. Work cooperatively with Health Department to ensure guidelines are being followed. Operate the school's child nutrition program within established guidelines to ensure a cost-effective program of high integrity with effective accounting of money and inventory. Monitor school for compliance with Texas Public Schools Nutrition Policies. Maintain good public relations with customers (students), coworkers, supervisors, and the community.
