About Whāraurau

Whāraurau
is a government-funded national workforce development centre focused on
improving infant, child, and youth mental health and addiction services across
all care sectors, including primary, NGO, Kaupapa Māori, and Te Whatu Ora.
Established in 2003 as The Werry Centre and renamed in 2016, Whāraurau is part
of the Wise Group and delivers training, leadership, and trauma-informed
approaches nationwide.
