Summary This position is located in the Office of Inspector General (OIG), Headquarters, U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Washington, DC. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key figure in the OIG's top management team. The incumbent has oversight responsibility for all financial management activities relating to the programs and operations of the OIG. Responsibilities Major Duties: Leads all aspects of the OIG's Agency Budget Program including budget planning, development, justification, execution, monitoring, and reporting. Leads all aspects of the OIG's Financial Management and Internal Controls Programs to include proper recording of financial data; data monitoring and reconciliation; submission of required deliverables; and financial reporting.
