Chemotherapy/Infusion RN is to administer simple to complex infusion therapy for chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy treatments to patients while working in collaboration with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals. This position demonstrates a professional model of nursing practice through the use of oncology related clinical pathways. The Chemotherapy RN is responsible for assessing, prioritizing and monitoring the patient under their care with strong critical thinking skills. This position provides education to patients, family members and significant others regarding cancer therapy and treatments associated with specific medication and treatment alternatives.
