Minimum Requirements:

in Chemical Engineering, advanced degree preferred but not required

4+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, highly preferred backgrounds would be: chemicals, specialty chemicals, plating chemicals or catalyst manufacturing

Must have prior optimization, capital project experience and process improvement experience

A big plus would be six-sigma certification; any experience with LEAN manufacturing techniques would also be a big plus

Personality-wise, they are looking for someone who is hands-on; much of this job will be spent out in the plant and interfacing with operators and other plant personnel. This person must have an out-going personality and be an effective communicator
