Amentum is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Chemical Engineer. This talented individual will work to support the U.S. Combat Capabilities and Development Command Soldier Center (CCDC SC). In addition to other duties, this Chemical Engineer will focus on assisting with the stand-up of a biopolymer-based fibers and nanomaterials spinning facility using melt, wet, dry-jet wet, and electrospinning techniques at the Soldier Center. The candidate will serve as the focal point for both current and future research and development efforts and will routinely coordinate with agencies and organizations to best support the Soldier Center team. You will be at the forefront of the Army’s latest developments in materials technology in support of the individual soldier. This position is on site at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
