Chef/Cook

We are looking for a Chef/Cook to join our Catering Team at Rampton Hospital, near Retford. This role requires a hardworking and energetic individual with a passion for delivering quality freshly cooked, healthy, wholesome food to our patients, staff and visitors.

We have one position available working 30 hours per week, one weekend on and one weekend off (including bank holidays). Shifts are between 06:30am and 6:00pm, working over a two-week rota.

Job responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Catering Food Safety Manual, Trust policies and procedures, the Food Safety Act and Food Hygiene Regulations.
• Provide assistance and information as required around patient meals and menus, and serve as a point of contact between catering provision and wards to identify any issues or specific dietary requirements, including allergen information.
