Job Description
Become a key player in the kitchen at Dexterra Group's Horizon North Camp as a Chef. This role offers a unique 20 on, 10 off schedule, allowing for optimal work-life balance.
As Chef, you will manage the kitchen, design menus, and support staff training while adhering to food safety protocols. With over 75 years of expertise, Dexterra Group is committed to operational excellence and high culinary standards. Your responsibilities will also include conducting regular inventory and ensuring efficient use of resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and presentation of quality menus
• Supervise kitchen compliance with safety policies
• Train and develop kitchen staff skills
• Maintain adherence to HACCP and FOODSAFE guidelines
• Execute bi-weekly inventory evaluations
Requirements:
• Valid Red Seal Certificate or Journeyperson qualifications
• Seven years’ experience in food service or hospitality
• Five years as a Chef in hotels or restaurants
