Position Summary

The Engineering department (Village & Accommodation and Crushers sections) of Tarkwa Gold Mine seeks to employ an experienced and outstanding individual to fill a Charge Hand – Electrical position. The successful applicant will maintain both fixed and mobile plants such that faults are identified and repaired in a responsible, safe, efficient and effective manner to achieve equipment availability and reliability, according to standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and friendly environment to ensure effective engineering standards and procedures are developed and implemented in compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements

Execute daily routine work strictly according to standards and procedures

Maintain a comprehensive record/file of applicable standards and procedures

Carry out routine maintenance, stripping and assembling of crushers and other ancillary equipment
