**POSITION SUMMARY:**

**To provide spiritual care services for patients, families and staff in a variety of clinical settings and among a very diverse patient and staff demographic. The position requires awareness of the many contextual features impacting care from a spiritual perspective**

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

+ **Gather and evaluate relevant information regarding the care of the patient’s spiritual, religious, emotional needs and resources.**
+ **Collaborates with other care providers to promote the spiritual well-being of the patient.**
+ **Assesses assigned units daily for spiritual care needs.**
