**Job Description :**

**GENERAL OVERVIEW:**

Provides care to women and their families throughout their lifespan.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Performs procedures within the scope of midwifery practice as defined by the American College of Nurse Midwives and outlined in the practice guidelines. (50%)
+ Performs assessments of physical, psychosocial and educational needs. (25%)
+ Provides diagnosis and order appropriate treatment and medication. (25%)
+ Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Travel required between Jefferson Hospital and Forbes Hospital

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

Minimum

+ Graduate of Nurse Midwife Program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
+ Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
+ Certification from American Midwifer...
