ANCC Magnet designated UPMC Passavant is currently hiring a Full-Time Lead Surgical Technologist to support our Operating Room at the McCandless location. The OR at Passavant is an exciting and fast paced environment where learning never stops! Salary will be determined based upon experience.

Shift Details:

+ Minimum 4 days a week
+ Two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts depending on department needs
+ On call 1 holiday per yearResponsibilities:
+ Coordinate day to day supervision of the surgical technicians.
+ Serve as the Lead on daily shifts to resolve/answer any questions or issues.
+ Teach both skill and theoretical principles to new employees and students.
+ Assist the Nurse Specialist in supervising the use of supplies and equipment for patient care and safety in all procedures.
