Position Summary

The Cardiac Device Technician serves as the primary liaison between Trinity Health clinical staff and cardiac device vendor representatives. This role supports program growth within the Device Clinic, facilitates regional collaboration across Trinity Health sites, and ensures high‑quality care for patients with implanted cardiac devices.

With physician oversight, the Cardiac Device Technician independently manages the technical aspects of implanted cardiac devices including pacemakers, ICDs, biventricular/CRT devices, and implantable loop recorders. This position is responsible for device interrogation, programming adjustments per protocol or provider order, advanced troubleshooting, and comprehensive management of device patients.
