Category Manager
Houston, TX 77042
System One is seeking a Category Manager in Houston, TX to establish and execute third party category management strategies to achieve best value in support of enterprise needs. This role partners closely with business leaders, engineering, estimating, proposals, and operational teams to drive sourcing strategies across engineered equipment, bulk materials, OEMs, fabricators, and strategic suppliers. The role sits within our client's Procurement Strategy function and supports sourcing initiatives across the enterprise, including large capital and EPC projects. This is a great opportunity to join a respected client in the heavy industrial construction sector!
Important Details:
+ 6-month contract with possibility of conversion to a permanent full-time position
+ Start date: As soon as possible
+ Work schedule: Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm (Subject to Change).
