Category Buyer

Reference: CPT -LT-1

Our client in the Academic and Retail industry is looking for a knowledgeable Category Buyer to join their dynamic team in the Western Cape, Northern Suburbs area.

Duties & Responsibilities

• 3 - 5 years' experience in Retail or Buying or similar field
• Qualification in Retail, Business, or Procurement Management is non-negotiable
• Computer literacy (MS Office) is essential
• Sales and customer driven with strong negotiating skills
• Network and develop key relationships with suppliers
• Strong commercial acumen, resilience, and able to work well under pressure
• Interpersonal skills and personable personality
