We are looking for a part-time Cash Application Specialist to support a high-volume manufacturing environment in Minnetonka, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented and confident managing large volumes of payment activity with accuracy and efficiency. The role will focus on applying customer payments, researching exceptions, and helping maintain timely cash posting within the accounts receivable process.


Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of incoming payments and apply cash accurately to customer accounts in a timely manner.

• Review lockbox activity and electronic payment transactions, posting routine items while investigating exceptions that require manual resolution.

• Handle unapplied and partially applied payments by researching account details and determining the correct posting treatment.
