PURPOSEThe Long Island Fatherhood Initiative (L.I.F.I) program will address the needs of fathers 18 years & older (most low-income, many with history and involvement in the criminal justice system) in both Nassau & Suffolk Counties. The case manager's primary goal is to work with fathers by providing regular contact to facilitate program retention, completion, and access to needed support services with greater focus on economic stability and job-focused services with a clear and unwavering commitment to promoting responsible parenting and healthy marriage/relationship.
