Job Description
Overall Role Purpose
- Manages timely and cost-efficient dispatch of trucks to comply with customer’s requirements
Key Activities
- Ensures maximum use of available fleet of trucks
- Liaises with drivers and sub-cons for timely delivery and pick-up of cargoes based on customers’ requirements
- Meets trucking requirements of the various business units’ external customers
- Evaluates sub-con truckers’ performance in compliance with custom-ers’ requirements
- Provides accurate delivery and pick-up assignments to drivers/ help-ers
- Receive booking from Business Units’ Booking
- Assigns and instructs truck and delivery crew to handle assigned booked delivery/pick-up requests
- Provides Delivery Receipt forms to drivers
- Monitors progress of booked deliveries and pick-ups up to the com-pletion point.
