Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing, ensuring comfort and dignity for each client.
- Assist with mobility and transfers utilizing proper techniques to promote safety and prevent injury to both the caregiver and the patient.
- Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, reporting any changes to nursing staff or family members promptly.
- Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to schedules and documenting administration accurately to maintain proper records.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving or nursing assistance are highly desirable.
- Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program, demonstrating foundational knowledge and skills in patient care.
