Job Description

As a Caregiver at our New Plymouth village, you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents.

Typical Duties

• Deliver meals and help with mealtimes.
• Aid with hygiene such as showering.
• Assist with individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises.
• Help with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis, etc.

Qualifications

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

• Experience in aged care or a similar role.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Commitment to being available for a variety of shifts, sometimes at short notice.
