Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high standard of care for the general comfort and well-being of the Dementia Daycare clients
- Conduct maintenance therapy exercises and other functional/cognitive/social programmes under the guidance of therapists
- Ensure safety of clients in the centre and while escorting clients to and from their homes to the centre according to guidelines and policy
- Assist to monitor clients’ vitals signs (eg temperature, blood pressure, etc) and assist clients with ADL needs in the centre (eg. toileting, feeding, changing)
- Assist to implement community integration activities under therapist’s supervision
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of therapy areas and ensure proper disinfection of the equipment and furniture daily at the end of each day
- Maintain inventories and equipment for the department
