Job Description
- Provide basic nursing care that aligns with the vision, mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the nursing services and the hospital.
- Notify the nursing leaders of any situations that impact the quality of care.
- Obtain ward report and assignment at the beginning of each shift and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager or Senior Registered Nurse
- Perform Daily routine:
- Conducts regular nursing rounds to assess patients’ needs and communicate with them and their families.
- Prepares and tidies patients’ beds and linens as needed and organizes patients’ belongings as well as furniture.
- Disinfects the beds, furniture, and equipment after utilizing them.
- Maintain the ward, store, fridge and its facilities clean and tidy.
- Assist the patient with filling the hot water flask if needed.
- Answer phone calls and relay messages.
- Attendants to patients call the bell promptly. ...
