Organization and Management

1. Provide basic nursing care that aligns with the vision, mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the nursing services and the hospital.
2. Notify the nursing leaders of any situations that impact the quality of care.
3. Obtain ward report and assignment at the beginning of each shift and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager or Senior Registered Nurse.
4. Daily routine: Conduct regular nursing rounds to assess patients’ needs and communicate with them and their families; prepare and tidy beds, reclining chairs before arrival of patients and linens, and as needed; provide drinks for patients, collect cups and meal trays after use; keep patients comfortable and cheerful by giving blankets if cold, positioning them, and switching on TV or radio; keep the unit area, store, fridge and its facilities clean and tidy; disinfect beds and equipment, dialysis machines, reclining chairs, and cardiac tables af...
