Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists providers with diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures in cardiac and vascular labs.
- Works under direct supervision while promoting teamwork.
- Must respond on-site within 30 minutes when on call.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as scrub assistant or monitor/recorder for cardiology and radiology studies.
- Prepares and positions patients for invasive procedures.
- Assists with cardiovascular tests and records patient hemodynamic activity using electronic equipment, recording devices, and lab instruments.
- Manages arterial and venous access sites post-procedure, including sheath removal and hemostatic devices.
- Sets up, maintains, and troubleshoots Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) when required.
