**Job Summary:**

Reston Hospital Center is seeking a cardiothoracic surgeon to launch Northern Virginia’s newest cardiothoracic surgery program just outside of Washington D.C. in the fast-growing and highly desirable community of Reston, VA.

**Qualified Candidates:**

+ Board certified
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience required
+ Superb communication skills and a passion for program development and collaboration
+ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the team of our growing program, and have a positive track record of team building
+ Commitment to building an STS 3-star program
+ Experience and comfort level with heart bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement (including TAVR and mitral)
+ Experience in open and endovascular aortic procedures
