Position is located: Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital
Work Type: Full Time
Hours Per Week: 40 Hours per Week
Work Schedule: No Hours Assigned
This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus for new graduates and a $15,000 sign on bonus for Techs with 2 years or more of experience.
*Current employees of any Northern Light Health Organization or those with service breaks less than a year are not eligible for a sign on bonus*
Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Imaging, the Cardiac Sonographer performs diagnostic echocardiogram procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. Studies include with and without contrast, stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms. Sonographer works closely with Cardiology to ensure quality of exams and timeliness of results.
