Day Shift 7:00 am - 5:30 pm
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II is responsible to assist in the performance of invasive testing and interventional procedures used in the detection and treatment of the heart and circulatory system within Cardiac Catheter, CTO and Structural Heart procedure rooms. They must also be proficient in the functions of Monitoring, Circulating and Scrubbing.
+ Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of cardiac, vascular, respiratory, and renal physiology and pathology, as well as ECG interpretation, cardiac medications, and hemodynamic principles.
+ Performs all three essential functions within the Cath Lab β Monitoring, Circulating, and Scrubbing β for diagnostic and interventional cardiac, CTO, and Structural Heart procedures.
+ Monitors and records hemodynamic data, ECG waveforms, and procedural events; alerts physicians to critical changes or abnormalities.
