Job Description
Step into a pivotal role in emergency medicine with the Canadian Armed Forces as a certified Emergency Medicine Specialist. Deliver critical care in challenging environments, both at home and globally.
In this role, you will be a key member of the CAF Medical Specialist occupation, engaged in multidisciplinary emergency teams and Forward Air Evacuation teams. Your duties include urgent care for injured members, mentoring other providers, and maintaining clinical skills via civilian healthcare practice. You will also take an active role in shaping CAF healthcare policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in high-stakes emergency resuscitation teams
• Provide urgent care during Forward Air Evacuations
• Mentor and educate fellow emergency medicine professionals
• Maintain high clinical competency in civilian hospitals
