**Job Description**

**The Campus Safety, Sustainability and Transport department has an outstanding opportunity for a Campus Safety Officer (Campus Security Officer (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv)) to join their team.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ The Campus Security Officer communicates and interacts effectively with a diverse group of students, faculty and staff and student groups to promote an inclusive campus community culture and participates in outreach and communication efforts.
+ Protect life and property, enforce and apply campus regulations and rules, local, state, and federal laws, maintain order, and prevent crime.
+ Patrol and inspect buildings and grounds at all times (when not performing other work-related duties) by foot, bicycle, or vehicle including multiple building locations and a student apartment complex ensuring that exterior and perimeter security doors are closed and locked, respond to alarms.
