Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Utilize AutoCAD and LSPE-X to create and maintain electrical drawings and design packages for UL891 Switchboards and UL67 Panelboards
  • Develop and update BOMs based on customer specifications and internal standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare layout, wiring, and detailed drawings; review and validate drawings for compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards
  • Support proposal and estimation activities by providing technical inputs, drawing packages, and BOM data through LSPE-X and related tools
  • Analyze RFQs (Requests for Quotation) to confirm technical feasibility and identify required engineering/drafting scopes
  • Work closely with engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams to optimize designs for manufacturability, schedules, and cost
  • Ensure all drawings and design outputs align with ANSI, IEEE, IEC, NEMA, UL891, UL67, NEC, and customer-specific requirements
