Job Description
An engineering solutions company is looking for a CAD technician to work onsite at one of their manufacturing locations in Winchester, KY doing design and drafting work for their structures division (i.e. bridges, underpasses for racetracks, precast arches, pedestrian walkways, etc.). This position starts out as a contract position with the intent of converting to full-time after 3-6 months.

Design: Utilize custom programs to create detailed drawings and bills of material for use in the manufacture and installation of our products. Review design information, site plans, and manuals to determine critical dimensions of design.
Software Utilization: Use applications such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Excel to meet project deadlines.
Collaboration & Precision: Confer with design staff to determine design requirements, modifications, and issues.
Calculations: Perform calculations to generate the design information necessary for creating fabrication drawings....
