Job Title: CAD DesignerJob Description
This role focuses on creating high-quality CAD designs that support the development and fabrication of advanced stellarator fusion technologies. The CAD Designer collaborates closely with engineers and scientists to produce accurate 3D models and technical drawings that enable reliable manufacturing of complex fusion device components.
Responsibilities
+ Translate mechanical design requirements into integrated 3D configuration models that support the overall fusion device architecture.
+ Develop and manage interfaces between and among stellarator systems, identifying and resolving mechanical and spatial conflicts.
+ Create accurate and detailed CAD models based on provided specifications, design inputs, and engineering requirements.
+ Convert CAD models into complete technical drawings suitable for fabrication, including clear and concise callouts and fabrication specifications.
