Level 2 Cable TechnicianJob Summary
The Level 2 Cable Technician is an intermediate-level role responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting copper and fiber-optic cabling systems across commercial, industrial, and data center environments. This position requires strong hands-on fiber expertise, the ability to work independently, and strict adherence to industry standards, safety practices, and project documentation requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesCabling Installation (Copper & Fiber)

+ Install, route, secure, and label structured cabling systems, including:

+ Copper: Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A

+ Fiber: Single-mode (OS2) and multi-mode (OM3/OM4)


+ Perform fiber terminations using mechanical, fusion splicing, and pre-terminated solutions

+ Install, dress, and maintain:

+ Fiber enclosures, splice trays, patch panels, cassettes, and LIUs
